Your Valiant will empty the right bottle first. The left bottle will not drain if you refill the right bottle immediately after it has emptied. Make sure the right bottle and the base of the unit are empty so that the left bottle can drain.

Our humidifiers can read humidity levels up to 99% but can only be set to 65%. When set to 65%, the unit will run until the humidifier is out of water.

Note that units with a dry-out mode will continue to run after the unit is empty to help dry out the wicking filter.

The Valiant has dual removable water bottles. The bottles are to be laid on the sink after the side fill caps have been removed. You will then turn the faucet so that it’s directly over the opening of the bottle and then fill the tank with water (please leave at least 2 inches of air in each bottle).

The F code means your unit needs to be FILLED with water.

If your unit is full with water and the F code still engages, this means the float rod is not positioned correctly. To install the float rod, turn the cabinet upright and place the wide end of the float in the circular area in the bottom of the cabinet. Make sure the float retainer is between the first and second bumps on the float. Squeeze the float retainer’s prongs together, position them halfway down the long vent slat, then release the prongs to lock in place.

Yes, your first set of wicking filters is included with your purchase.

We recommend changing your wicks every 30-90 days. During these regular wick changes, all four of the wick pieces should be changed at the same time. If you have a wick piece that has been inadvertently damaged, you can certainly just replace replace that piece.
